During January we are accepting reservations for our "Hometown Ribs and Glass Getaway."  This package includes one overnight accommodation in our superior hotel, a $25 gift certificate to Fenton Art Glass Gift Shop, dinner for two at Texas Roadhouse and our all you can eat HOT breakfast buffet the next morning.  Reservations are limited to the first 16 reservations and advanced payment is required upon booking.  Fenton gift certificate must be used in full at the gift shop, not redeemable for cash, can not be used for taxes, not valid with other offers or promotions.  Dinner is not redeemable for cash.  Dinner for two is limited to one entree per person, up to two people.  Appetizers, desserts, drinks, legal beverages, taxes and gratuities not included.  Package not available January 28-29.   

Spend Christmas at North Bend State Park Lodge and feast on a Christmas buffet.  Christmas in the Country includes accommodations for one night at the North Bend State Park Lodge on December 24 or December 25 and the Christmas Buffet on December 25.  The buffet features standing prime rib and turkey carving station, choices of four hot entrees, the 30-item salad bar, Chef Ingel's famous desset station and more.  Buffet hours are 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

How the package works
Arrive at North Bend with your fishing buddy and enjoy a great deal of fishing on the 300 acre North Bend Lake. Check in at North Bend State Park then swing by Hess Fish and Tackle to check out the new items, redeem your coupon, and find the fishing patterns on the lake. After an overnight rest, start the day with breakfast in the North Bend Dining room and head back to the lake for some more great fishing.  Need to recharge your trolling motor battery?  No problem we have outlets adjacent to the parking lot just for that.

We really like Fred’s private stash for bass fishing and Jones or Crane Baits for musky fishing.   All of these are quality hand made lures that are favorites of local fishermen. 

About Fred Hess
Hess is an accomplished bass angler. He began fishing the section of the North Fork of the Hughes River that was flooded to from North Bend Lake over twenty years ago.  He knows the lake as well as or better than anyone, combine that with his knowledge of fishing and interest in seeing fishermen be successful, therefore returning to the lake and his shop, he’s a local fishermen who can and will tell you about the good fishing holes.

Like West Virginia autumn leaves, already great rates are falling at North Bend State Park in October.  Forested terrain rewards visitors with beautiful fall colors.  The North Bend Rail Trail is nearby for hiking and bike riding.  And the 305-acre lake is quiet and a perfect setting to enjoy a fall getaway.  

The special rate of $59 per room is available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night in October.  When calling for reservations at North Bend Lodge, mention "great rate" to receive this special offer.
