The 2017 Winter Lecture series is every Sunday in February. Kendra Ward and Bob Bence are our guests. Champion dulcimer player, musician, author and composer, Kendra Ward, and award-winning, guitarist, Bob Bence, will present a unique and powerful afternoon of Appalachian folk music and history. Be prepared to get your toes tapping and hands clapping. The four-week series consists of Sunday afternoon programs beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Blennerhassett Museum. Parking is free.
Seating is limited and reservations are required for the lecture series. There is a small cost to the attend the lectures: the cost to attend the lecture series is $5.00 per lecture for non-Friends of Blennerhassett Members and $4.00 per lecture for Friends of Blennerhassett members. You can make reservations for the individual lectures you would like to attend or you can sign up for all four.
