“Christmas Foods & Celebrations at Blennerhassett Mansion” is an illustrated talk.  Learn more about the festive activities and foods during the Twelve Days of Christmas celebrations in early 1800s.  Richard and Martha Hartley, as food historians and authors of two early WV foodways books, will share what Christmas was and was not like in the Mid-Ohio Valley at this time period.  Scott Cain will play instrumental Christmas music before to the start of history talk.  Light refreshments will follow program.  This event will be at the Blennerhassett Museum.  Cost is $5.00 per person.  Call the Museum at (304) 420-4800 if you have questions.
