Mid-Ohio Valley Railroad History Open House is a free event hosted by the Mid-Ohio Valley Model Railroad Club.

6 running layouts on display including HO N O and G gauge layouts. New upgrades include new tech in O with TV displays of the layout 4 running loops. This layout has many impressive moving parts lights and industries including a model train store with running trains inside trackside. A new large N scale layout with DC/DCC operation 6 loops to run on and an impressive fire scene recreated from local Ames plant fire. G gauge has 3 loops with lots large structures and outdoor scenery including running water fall and operating circus train and circus equipment. Ho scale is the largest member base of the club followed by O scale and has 3 running loops with 3 operating yards and 1 staging yard that are DCC. Half of the layout is under a remodel with all new track and benchwork. Takes approximately 20min to make a lap on the main line
