The Polar Express will make a stop in downtown Parkersburg on Saturday, Dec. 7, at the Mid-Ohio Valley Model Railroad Club’s annual Christmas Open House. The popular children’s train from the movie of the same title will be running in multiple scales from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. as part of Downtown PKB’s Winterfest celebration. What’s more, the model railroad club will be offering a Lionel O scale Polar Express train set and related items as prizes. Admission and parking are free. The Mid-Ohio Valley Model Railroad Club is located in the rear basement of NOE Office Equipment at 610 Green Street.
