Events

The Point Park Concert Series is held at Point Park in Downtown Parkersburg, West Virginia. Hosted on the second Friday of the month in June, July, and August the concerts draw crowds who want to listen to amazing music outside along the river. The concerts are free and open to the public.

• A limited number of food vendors will be in attendance, and we will be selling beer and wine.

• Rain Venue: Auditorium at Parkersburg High School

June 13 – Track 9

Join us for June’s concert on the river and enjoy an evening listening to Track 9. Track 9 takes the greatest songs by some of the greatest artists of all time, and plays them sorta like the original. Sometimes with a twist of their own! And at the end of the evening, you’ve heard music from 20 or 30 or more artists across a wide range of music styles.

July 11 – Pretty Tied Up

n July, we will welcome to the stage, Pretty Tied Up. Pretty Tied Up is an All-Star tribute to Guns N’ Roses featuring members who have performed with members of KISS, Motley Crue, and more! This summer they will be performing all of “Appetite For Destruction” in its entirety featuring bassist Chip Z’Nuff from the legendary 80’s band Enuff Z’Nuff. Formed in 2019, there is a not a tribute band with a lineup of more professional musicians. Come witness Guns N’ Roses recreated from the ground up with correct costumes, instruments, and most importantly amazing players!

August 8 – Truckstop

TRUCKSTOP (T-stop) will play in August. They are a West Virginia based heavy metal and thrash band that launched in 2020, and gained momentum with their fun TikTok videos.

TRUCKSTOP has opened for Quiet Riot, Lynch Mob, Ace Frehley, Bullet Boys, Kings of Thrash, Blaze Bayley, Everclear, TX2, Deadlands, Sponge, Mike Tramp, Tantric, The Last In Line, Bastardane, Death Angel, Metal Church,  Taproot, Struggle Jennings, Smile Empty Soul, Adelitas Way, 10 years, Agent Orange, D.R.I, Bobaflex and more.
