CVB Office Manager to Retire Aug. 31

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (Aug. 15, 2018) – The Greater Parkersburg Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) has announced the bureau’s office manager, Debbie Zyla, will retire August 31.

“Debbie is an institution of CVB knowledge and will be greatly missed,” said Mark Lewis, CVB President & CEO. “Her friendly voice and smile have greeted thousands of visitors by phone and in person and for nearly two decades. The bureau staff and board of directors, along with area tourism partners, wish her and her family the very best in retirement.”

Zyla has served the bureau in a variety of roles during the past 18 years, including as receptionist, group sales coordinator, direct mail and brochure distribution clerk, and accounts receivable. In recent years she has overseen the bureau’s day-to-day office activities as office manager.
