Greater Parkersburg is home to many small businesses that offer unique shopping experiences. Here are ten shops that are a must visit for those in town.

  1. Berdine’s 5 & Dime – 106 N Court St, Harrisville, WV

Berdine’s 5 & Dime is America’s oldest 5 & Dime store! Since 1908, Berdine’s has sold everything from tin toys to candy to the most unusual items you could imagine! You can certainly find a unique gift or souvenir at Berdine’s. It’s a must-see stop during a trip to North Bend State Park. Keep in mind they’re cash-only! Mulberry Lane Country Store is West Virginia’s largest country store, home to 7,000 sq ft of the country’s finest gifts, home furnishing and hospitality!
