This year’s Paddlefest will feature a variety of activities, including yoga, guided workouts, canvas painting and more. All people-powered watercraft are welcome to this event.

Nature Wonder Weekend

Hosted by the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources, Nature Wonder Weekend invites you to grow your bond with nature as you enjoy guided nature hikes and education workshops focused on foraging, preparing and enjoying wild food.

Live Entertainment

Across the river in Marietta, OH, on Friday, September 12, Tusk: The Classic Fleetwood Mac Tribute will be performing at the Peoples Bank Theatre.

For the Kids

Parkersburg Paddlefest will have a kids’ zone with inflatables and activities on Friday and Saturday at Point Park.

Discovery World on Market, an interactive STEAM-based children’s museum, will have Future Me Career Day on Saturday, September 13, where families can meet real-life professionals in fields such as science, tech, art, health, engineering and beyond. This will include hands-on activities, career stations, interactive demonstrations and more.

Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park is a fan-favorite for families. Kids love the sternwheeler boat ride to the island and the horse-drawn covered wagon ride. The island is a perfect blend of education and adventure for all ages to enjoy.
