The 1889

The 1889 is the lounge off the lobby, in the oldest part of the floor plan, named for the year the doors first opened. The 1889 is where the hotel settles in for the evening. Cocktails, a short plate menu, and the kind of room that makes one drink turn into two.

The Conspiracy

The closed door on the floor below. Take the stairs. A quick call will give you the door code to our speakeasy. A small, low room in the oldest part of a building that has been standing since 1889. The name belongs to the island a few miles downriver, where Harman Blennerhassett and Aaron Burr laid the scheme that ended with militia on the lawn and the family’s name in a treason indictment. It’s easier to find when you’re already staying upstairs.
