ArtOberfest

ArtOberfest will take place on October 12, 2024!

Join us for a celebration of the arts on the 700 block of Market Street!

Artists will fill the block with unique and hand-crafted items for your shopping pleasure. Musical entertainment for the evening includes performances by Moonking, Sour Mash String Band and the Debarr Stevens Trio. Enjoy great food and drink from – WineDown on Market, Parkersburg Brewing Company, DJs Sweet Creations and our Jennifer Carpenter of the old Crystal Cafe fame!

The Art Center and the PAC713 Market will also be open all evening so guests can shop at our gift shop and enjoy the vibrant gallery exhibit by WV Allied Artists. We will also have a kids activity sponsored by Discovery World from 5-7 p.m. and the a Lego Building station for kids of all ages inside the Art Center!

The event is free, but donations will be accepted at the entrance. If it rains, the party will go on because The Parkersburg Art Center is BIG and we can move the fun indoors!

ALSO we will again have Chalk the Block happening on the 800 block of Market Street from 1-5 p.m. Artists of all ages will create temporary works of art directly on the sidewalk. You are invited to join the fun, watch the creativity flow and vote for your favorites! Prizes will be awarded!
